Don-A-Vee is also a founding sponsor of the Big Bear Jeep Jamboree.  We have been participating at this event for 15 years now.  We provide support for the attendees by sending a staff of technicians to assist in prepping the vehicles for the variety of terrain that the trails of Big Bear have to offer.  Each year we provide trail repair and assistance free of charge to the attendees.  We also send our highly experienced staff out on the trails to assist in navigating the terrain.  You can join at the next Big Bear Jeep Jamboree by visiting contacting us for sign-up information!

We have built Jeeps for the World Expedition Team's challenge in Chile, Argentina and Patagonia.  Don-A-Vee has fielded one the greatest desert race teams in history, championed by drivers Curt Le Duc and Darren Skilton. In the past Don-A-Vee has sent teams to the World Cup All Terrain Rally series in Morocco, Spain, and Portugal.  We currently operate a leading race team that competes in the JeepSpeed events in local and international desert races and rallies.  The vehicle is driven by Jim Williams who is the current owner of Don-A-Vee.

Our Technicians have experience in all aspects of Jeep vehicles.  Gary Grinkevich, one of our Master Technicians, is an expert on Jeep engine swaps, recognized as the first person to ever perform a Cherokee/Chevy 350 swap and has been the foundation for the staff we have, all of which have had a part in building and maintaining the globe traveling vehicles that come out of our shop every day.  Two of these Jeeps finished the London to Sydney Rally and another which traveled from Moscow, crossing Siberia, to the Pacific.

Don-A-Vee is also well regarded in the aftermarket industry.  We have been included in the building of SEMA vehicles for Jeep, the development of aftermarket parts and accessories, and producing our own line of accessories such as our famous Grand Cherokee Rear Tire Carrier.  Don-A-Vee also has provided Jeep vehicles to many of the aftermarket accessory manufacturers and suppliers.  In 2006 alone, Don-A-Vee provided 6 of the JK Wranglers on display at SEMA by various companies and accounted for all but 1 of the JK Wranglers on display at Off Road Expo in Pomona.
